Triora situata su una collina nella Valle Argentina, entroterra di Imperia, bisogna salire quassu per vedere il cuore autentico di questo Paese che per stemma ha il Cerbero, il mostro canino severo custode dell' ingresso degli inferi pagani, a Triora tutto parla di Streghe che nella Cabotina ha il suo punto misterioso, a Triora si svolse nel 1588 il celebre processo alle Streghe, dove questa terra non era vittima di Satana ma sua incubatrice, un insieme di oracoli, guaritori, esoecisti, maghi, druidi e Streghe potentissime...
Triora è immersa in uno scenario d' incanto, quì l' aria è particolarmente salutare, il silenzio profondo al punto che sembrano ancora presenti gli spiriti degli antichi Druidi ...
Piacevole passeggiare per i suoi Carugi, nelle Piazze, gli antichi Palazzi e le sue Chiese, il museo Regionale Etnografico e della Stregoneria, il Parco Archeologico, una visita a Triora vale certamente la pena, un tuffo nel Medioevo che non scorderemo.
Un commento sulle specialità culinarie del luogo è d' obbligo, molto apprezzati i formaggi d' alpeggio come il Bruzzo, i funghi, il miele, i primi piatti come le torte di patate e verdura, i ravioli di magro, le tagliatelle, le lasagne, i secondi come il coniglio alla ligure e il cappon magro, anche i dolci come i canestrelli e le torte dolci, ottimi i ristoranti locali, personalmente ho trovato ottimo il Ristorante L' Erba Gatta located in Via Roma ....
Concludendo il noto scrittore Riccardo Bacchelli ebbe a dire di Triora " Vi fui sul far della sera, mentre estive caligini sciroccali accrescevano sui monti il senso di remota lontananza e solitudine.
E anche la cortesia degli abitanti, cortesi come sanno esserlo i liguri austeri e ritenuti, parlava al cuore.
Alto sullo sprone di monte, e dominante sul paese e sulle valli precipiti e profonde, il camposanto di Triora è simile a un fortilizio destinato all’ultima difesa. Ed anche la stupenda invenzione che l’ha collocato lassù è un’invenzione d’amore" ...
